DEVON PLAYING FIELDS ASSOCIATION - MEMBERSHIP FEES 2008/09
Your membership fee for Devon Playing Fields Association for the year 1 April 2008 – 31 March 2009 is due in March 2008. DPFA is the only countywide independent organisation working with, and on behalf of, Devon’s communities to improve and maintain outdoor sport and play provision. It is entirely dependent on membership subscriptions to continue its work.
There are numerous benefits of DPFA membership. A full list is outlined in the enclosed leaflet but include:
- A local and national voice to lobby on the importance of play and sport opportunities, particularly those in rural areas

Free information and advice sheets on a range of topics.

Individual information and advice through a dedicate Playing Fields Adviser.

For Playing fields Association A reduced rate public liability insurance scheme for playing fields and playgrounds.

Access to the County Playing fields reduced rate insurance scheme which has been tailored to meet the needs of local community groups , local sports clubs and town and parish councils

A small grants scheme

interest free loan scheme up to 2, 000 over three years.

* The Playing Field newsletter is sent instead of the quarterly CCD membership magazine Village Green. If you wish to continue to receive Village Green please complete the appropriate section on the enclosed form.

A ‘Standing Order’ can also be made for this purpose. You can request one by emailing [ info@devonrcc.org.uk ]
A copy of the standing order form should be sent to us with the completed DPFA membership form. If you do have an existing standing order being paid to DPFA, please ensure that it is cancelled, and a new standing order is put in place.
As a member of Devon Playing Fields Association you will automatically become an affiliated member of the Community Council of Devon. However, if you wish to become a full member of CCD please request a CCD membership application form.
