Can you accommodate a Dutch university student undertaking local research for a fortnight
Can you accommodate a Dutch university student undertaking local research for a fortnight in your village or town in 2006 ?
CCD is once again combining with Wageningen University in Holland on a residential rural research programme. We have 25 families who have previously hosted Dutch but are now looking for 10 new hosts – in other towns and villages.
This year’s visit will be from9th – 25th June 2006. The students will be undertaking local research as part of their second year university course. They are encouraged to participate in both family and village/community life, and there is ‘modest compensation’ of £250 to help with the cost of bed and board.
We are not looking for hosts in the following areas as we have some already.
Black Dog; Winkleigh; Tiverton; Bratton Fleming, Langtree; Buckland in the moor; Cullompton; Northam; Pyworthy.
Ilsington; Chulmleigh x 3; Bradninch x 2; Princetown; Uffculme; Rattery; Chittlehamholt;
Dunkeswell; Holsworthy; Totnes; South Molton; Braunton; Poltimore; Kenton
However if you are from one of these towns/villages and still interested do contact as, as we will put you on the reserve list and also contact you in future years.
